Halloween costumes for dogs....good idea? or Bad idea?
We dressed ours up last year and probably won't do it again.
Last year Zack was a King (but he looked more like the pope) and Sasha was Drybones (Super Mario Brothers Character)
We didn't take them out for Halloween or anything like that, that would be crazy with two young dogs.
But we dressed them up on Halloween night and took pictures. And then basically took off the costumes, they didn't like them much.
Seemed like a waste of money really and I wasn't going to torture them by making them leave on costumes they didn't like.
So for us I think it was a bad idea and this year I am saving my money and getting them a little extra something special for Christmas (some new toys and bones)
So for us i think it was a bad idea. It may be more fun for others.
Also for those who have done this: Did your dogs tolerate it, not seem to mind, or totally hate it?
Here are pictures of my dogs from last Halloween:
Zachary as a king (again I think he looks more like the Pope)

Sasha as Dry Bones

(Zack didn't seem to mind so much but then again in the winter time I keep him in a sweater, he gets so cold, but Sasha hated it.)

Our dog doesn't like it either but I have found that the Dollar Tree has felt capes & hats that aren't annoying our dog. We take the pictures for nostalgic & humorous reasons and then remove the costume. Be sure to reward them for being tolerant of our silly requests!

Halloween Costumes for dogs?
My dogs are dressing up (because I like to dress them up) for Halloween. Basically they are going for their daily walk around the complex and going to wear them that day. (Also rumor has it they are doing a dog halloween contest here)

Don't worry neither one minds clothes because in the winter they can't seem to handle the cold so they wear a jacket out.
What are your dogs going to be and what do you think of Zack and Sasha's costumes
